Purpose and fitment for BMW X5 E70 / X6 E71

The presented seat backrest has been designed specifically for BMW X5 E70 and BMW X6 E71 models, intended for the front left side. This ensures that the correct mounting points, backrest geometry, and compatibility with factory rails and seat construction are maintained, which facilitates installation and avoids the need for upholstery or frame modifications. The element is dedicated to factory seats in black Nevada leather, which allows for the aesthetic replacement of a damaged backrest without the need to interfere with other seat components. This is a practical solution for post-collision repairs, wear and tear, or localized upholstery damage.

Heated backrest – comfort and functionality

The built-in backrest heating function significantly improves driving comfort in low temperatures, especially on long journeys. The backrest works with the factory BMW seat heating system, which allows you to maintain original operation from the control panel in the cabin, without the need for additional switches or installation modifications. The heated backrest also helps to reach a comfortable temperature for the driver's back more quickly, which can reduce fatigue during daily use. Using the original design ensures even heat distribution across the backrest surface, in accordance with the manufacturer's factory specifications.

Nevada leather – aesthetics and durability

The upholstery made of black Nevada leather is a characteristic finish for BMW X5 E70 and X6 E71 interiors. This material combines a pleasant-to-touch texture with good resistance to daily wear, which is important in cars used intensively, including on long distances. The backrest in this finish allows you to maintain visual consistency with other cabin elements – the seat base, rear bench, and door panels. This is a beneficial solution for partial interior renovation, when you want to preserve the original character of your BMW without the need for a complete replacement of the entire seat set.

Benefits of using an original seat backrest

Using an original seat backrest in a BMW X5 E70 or X6 E71 brings a number of practical advantages:

• factory fitment to the driver's side seat construction,
• preservation of the original backrest heating function,
• color and material consistency with the Nevada leather interior,
• possibility to replace only the damaged element instead of the entire seat. Thanks to this solution, you can restore a key element of the seating area in a controlled manner, improving the ergonomics and appearance of the cabin without excessive costs.
