What symptoms indicate a problem with the washer or wiper system?

Common symptoms include uneven wiper movement, failure to return to the rest position, weak fluid spray, and leaks from the reservoir or hoses. Clogged nozzles and play in the arms, which impair the pressure of the blades against the glass, are also encountered. Such symptoms should be compared with the condition of the mechanism, pump, and electrical installation.
