Purpose and fitment

The presented armrest is designed as a component of the rear right door upholstery in the Audi A6 C6 generation model. The construction is adapted to factory mounting points, which facilitates installation and allows for maintaining the original handle geometry. As a result, after replacement, the door panel line remains consistent, and the ergonomics of operating the door handle and buttons remain unchanged.

Construction and materials

The handle is based on a rigid support body, covered with black leather color-matched to typical Audi A6 C6 interior configurations. The leather surface provides a pleasant-to-the-touch, slightly matte character that blends well with other upholstery elements. The applied finish reduces hand slippage and improves support comfort during long-distance travel.

Function in interior ergonomics

The rear right door armrest serves both as a handle for closing the door and as a comfortable forearm support. The properly contoured shape supports the natural position of the passenger's arm, which improves travel comfort. The stable construction of the handle also facilitates secure closing of the door from the inside without the need for excessive effort.

Condition and service application

The item comes from dismantling and is intended for service applications as a spare part for existing door upholstery. It is suitable for replacing a worn, frayed, or damaged handle, allowing for the restoration of interior aesthetics and functionality without the need to purchase a complete door panel. This is a cost-effective solution for users looking for original components on a reasonable budget.

Integration with other Audi interior elements

The black leather armrest blends well with the factory trims and decorative strips used in the Audi A6 C6. Maintaining the original texture and color makes it easy to keep a consistent look for the entire rear cabin area, which is important both aesthetically and for potential vehicle resale. Thanks to the use of an original component, there is no need to match universal replacements. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the door trim area in your Audi and need other elements from the same group, such as trims, decorative strips, or decorative inserts, check the available parts in the Audi trims, decorative strips and decorations category.
