Purpose and fitment for BMW 3 Series

The presented seat belongs to the Seats and Benches category and is intended for installation on the front right side in a BMW 3 Series E90/E91 generation. The seat and backrest construction is compatible with factory mounting points, which facilitates installation in a vehicle equipped with the appropriate electrical wiring for memory and heating functions. By maintaining the original seat geometry, it is possible to ensure proper interaction with safety systems and preserve the ergonomics intended by the manufacturer.

Material and upholstery characteristics

The upholstery is made of natural Dakota leather in Lemon, characteristic of selected BMW interior configurations. This type of leather is distinguished by its compact structure and tactile texture, which promotes stable body support while driving. The bright Lemon shade optically brightens the cabin, enhancing the sense of spaciousness and highlighting the dashboard line and door panels in the appropriate color configuration.

Comfort features: memory settings and heating

The seat is equipped with a memory settings function, which allows for storing selected seat and backrest positions for several users (depending on the vehicle configuration). After integration with the car's electrical system, it is possible to quickly recall a saved position, which increases daily convenience, especially when more than one person uses the car. The built-in seat heating improves thermal comfort in colder conditions, accelerating the warming of the seat and backrest surfaces. Once properly connected to the factory controls in the BMW E90/E91, the system works with the original adjustment panels, maintaining operational consistency with other interior elements.

Application in interior restoration and upgrades

This front seat can be used both for professional post-accident repair and for interior upgrades, e.g., replacing standard seats with a leather version featuring memory and heating. Thanks to its original BMW origin, it is possible to maintain stylistic consistency and proper fitment to factory rails, seat belt mounts, and center console elements. In the case of expanding the interior with additional comfort features, it is worth paying attention to the compatibility of the vehicle's electrical installation with the seat equipment and the appropriate configuration of controllers in the car so that all functions are correctly recognized and operated.

Why choose an original BMW seat

The original BMW 3 Series E90/E91 seat ensures factory fitment to the body structure, which limits the need for modifications and minimizes the risk of installation problems. Maintaining the original specification translates into predictable seat behavior while driving, proper thigh and back support, and compatibility with other cabin elements. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the interior zone in your BMW and need other elements from the same group, such as additional seats, backrests, or adjustment modules, check the available parts in the BMW Seats and Benches category.
