Purpose and fitment for Audi models

The presented armrest has been designed for the rear seat of the Audi A4 B9 generation and Audi A5 F5 generation models. The component's construction is adapted to the factory mounts in the rear seat backrest, which allows for maintaining a consistent upholstery line and ergonomic seat shape. As a result, after installation, the armrest forms a uniform whole with the other interior elements, without the need to interfere with the seat structure.

Functionality of the rear seat armrest

The armrest performs several utility functions simultaneously, improving the comfort of rear passengers:

• stable forearm support while driving, especially on longer journeys,
• built-in cup holder, facilitating the safe transport of drinks,
• organizing the space on the rear seat and reducing the risk of accidental liquid spills. Such a solution increases the overall ergonomics of the rear cabin while maintaining the subdued and functional design characteristic of Audi. The integration of the cup holder into the armrest body allows for convenient use without additional adapters or accessories.

Color scheme and visual interior consistency

The color of the armrest stands out against standard dark finishes, which can be a conscious choice when configuring an interior with a more dynamic character. In vehicles where contrasting stitching, sports styling packages, or custom upholstery have been used, such an element allows for achieving a consistent, expressive visual effect. The uniform color of the armrest surface promotes an aesthetic connection with the backrest and the rear seat cushion.

Characteristics of the used component

The armrest comes from disassembly, which means it is a used item that retains the features of original Audi equipment. Such components are often chosen for post-accident repairs, completing missing interior elements, or restoring a car to its factory specification. Original origin from the Audi group promotes maintaining proper fitment and predictable material behavior in the long term of operation.

Comfort and modernization of the rear cabin

Replacing or adding a rear armrest with a cup holder is a simple way to improve passenger comfort without interfering with the vehicle's structure. This solution will work well both in daily city use and during longer trips, where stable support and the ability to safely set down a drink really affect the perceived comfort.
