Purpose and fitment

The presented mirror has been designed specifically for the Discovery Sport L550 generation, which translates into a precise fit to the door shape, correct geometry, and compatibility with factory mounts. Its placement on the right side of the vehicle allows for a direct replacement of a damaged component without the need for bodywork modifications or electrical system adaptations. The original Land Rover origin ensures that factory quality standards are maintained, as well as the proper operation of the adjustment and folding mechanism within the vehicle's existing electrical system.

Functionality and construction

The mirror belongs to the Wing Mirrors category and is equipped with a power-folding function, which facilitates maneuvering in tight spaces and parking in the city. The bracket and housing construction ensures stable positioning while driving, and the properly selected mirror geometry supports good side visibility. The black housing blends well with both dark and light body colors, reducing the need for additional painting in many equipment configurations. This is a practical solution for quick replacement after a collision or operational damage.

Use in repairs and upgrades

The used power-folding mirror is suitable for:

• accident repairs of the right side of the body,
• replacing a damaged folding mechanism or housing,
• restoring full functionality to the side zone of the vehicle after a parking collision. Choosing an original part from dismantling allows for maintaining the factory body line and correct fitment with the door, which is important for both the aesthetics and aerodynamics of the vehicle.

Benefits of using an original mirror

Using an original wing mirror in the Discovery Sport L550 ensures:

• secure fitment to factory mounting points and electrical installation,
• consistent appearance with other body elements thanks to the black housing,
• retention of the power-folding function without the need for wiring modifications. This solution is particularly beneficial for users who want to restore the full functionality of the vehicle while maintaining the original manufacturer's specifications.
