Purpose and function in the vehicle

The presented mirror is designed for the right side of the body, which is crucial for proper fitment to the door and the body geometry of the Jaguar XK X100. The integrated memory function allows the mirror position to be saved for different drivers, improving ergonomics and reducing the time required to prepare the car for driving. The component has been designed to work with vehicle versions equipped with a petrol engine, which is important in terms of electrical system compatibility and factory equipment configuration.

Finish and Midnight Black Metallic color

The mirror is coated in Midnight Black Metallic paint, which ensures consistency with the factory Jaguar color palette. The metallic structure of the coating gives the body a subtle, elegant character and harmonizes well with the coupe line of the XK X100 model. Thanks to the preservation of the correct shade and metallic effect, the component allows for an aesthetic mirror replacement without the need for additional painting of the entire panel, provided the vehicle's paint condition is similar to the presented component.

Compatibility and technical aspects

The mirror belongs to the Exterior mirrors category, meaning it has been designed with requirements regarding the field of view, stability at higher speeds, and weather resistance in mind. The housing and mounting design are adapted to the specific geometry of the Jaguar XK X100 door, which facilitates installation and ensures proper adhesion to the bodywork. The presence of the memory function requires cooperation with the appropriate control module in the vehicle, which is why the component is particularly recommended for models factory-equipped with electric adjustment with seat and mirror position memory.

Condition, application, and benefits of installation

The product is used, making it an attractive solution for post-accident repairs or replacing a damaged mirror in older vehicles. This allows for maintaining a reasonable service budget while keeping the original vehicle specifications. Replacing a damaged mirror with a functional one with memory:

• restores full adjustment functionality on the passenger side,
• increases daily operating comfort thanks to setting memory,
• improves safety through a proper field of view on the right side,
• maintains visual consistency of the body thanks to the matched metallic paint.
