Purpose and Fitment

This mirror belongs to the Exterior Mirrors category and is structurally designed to fit specific BMW models. Its placement on the right side of the vehicle guarantees compatibility with the factory body geometry and correct mirror angle for the driver. Being an original BMW part means retaining the correct housing shape, mounting points, and compatibility with factory solutions used in the specific model.

Construction and Function of the Exterior Mirror

The right-side exterior mirror is responsible for monitoring the adjacent lane and blind spot. A correctly selected part:

• provides an adequate reflective surface,
• maintains a stable mirror position while driving,
• protects the adjustment mechanism inside the housing,
• preserves the characteristic BMW styling line. Thanks to its factory design, the mirror integrates with the original mounting points in the door, facilitating installation and minimizing the risk of improper fitment with the body panel.

Condition of the Part and Benefits of Using a Used Part

The offered part is in used condition, allowing for economical vehicle repair while maintaining original quality. In many cases, using a used BMW mirror is a beneficial solution when preserving the factory appearance and performance without the need to invest in a new component is a priority. A used exterior mirror is also a good choice for post-accident repairs when the priority is to quickly restore full vehicle functionality and compliance with factory specifications.

Why Choose an Original BMW Mirror

Compared to aftermarket alternatives, an original BMW mirror offers:

• factory fitment to the door and side panel,
• visual consistency with other body elements,
• preservation of the aerodynamics intended by the manufacturer in the side area,
• adequate structural rigidity of the housing. Therefore, replacing a damaged mirror with an original used part allows for restoring the vehicle to a condition close to factory original, without compromising safety and observation ergonomics. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the side body area on your BMW and need other parts from the same group, such as housings, inserts, or complete sets with mounting, check the available parts in the BMW Exterior Mirrors category.
