Purpose and fitment for Ford Transit Custom Mk2

The presented mirror belongs to the Side View Mirrors category and is intended for installation on the right side of the body in the second-generation Ford Transit Custom. The design is prepared for factory mounting points, which facilitates installation and allows for compliance with the original body geometry. Using a dedicated mirror for this model reduces the risk of incorrect viewing angles and problems with fitting the housing to the door edge.

Technical characteristics and color

The mirror is finished in Blue Metallic – FCC, which allows for an aesthetic match to the bodywork in the same shade without the need for additional painting. The placement on the right side of the vehicle ensures proper coverage of the blind spot in the side and rear area, which is particularly important in commercial vehicles with a larger side surface. The housing construction is adapted for daily use in both urban and extra-urban traffic.

Condition of the item and benefits of choosing a used part

The mirror is offered as a used original Ford component, which represents a reasonable compromise between cost and build quality. Choosing a second-hand original mirror allows you to maintain factory visual and structural fitment while reducing expenses compared to a new component. Safety, ergonomics, and comfort of use

A properly selected side mirror has a direct impact on the safety of maneuvering, changing lanes, and observing the side zone of the vehicle. Using a dedicated mirror for the Ford Transit Custom Mk2 helps maintain proper field-of-view ergonomics, which is especially important in a commercial vehicle with larger dimensions. Stable mounting and a properly selected angle of the mirror glass reduce vibrations and improve image clarity while driving.
