Purpose and function in the centre console

The described cover is part of the Centre and roof consoles group, responsible for the aesthetic closure of the space around the cigarette lighter socket and the beverage area. The component integrates:

• a centre console decorative panel,
• a space for a cigarette lighter or power socket,
• a cup or bottle holder in the front part of the tunnel. Thanks to this, a single component organizes the key utility area between the seats, ensuring convenient access to accessory power and stable placement of beverages while driving.

Construction and utility values

The cover has been designed as an element matched to the geometry of the centre tunnel in the Ford B-Max, which translates into precise fitment with the factory console. The design provides an integrated space for the cigarette lighter socket and a profiled cup holder, which limits the movement of containers during acceleration and braking. The arrangement of functional zones is subordinated to the ergonomics of the driver and front passenger – access to the cigarette lighter and beverages is intuitive, without the need to take your eyes off the road for longer than necessary. The applied finish serves a decorative role, improving the visual consistency of the centre tunnel with the dashboard.

Use in service and interior renovation

The element will work particularly well in situations where the existing console cover is damaged, cracked, has finish defects, or is missing a complete cup holder. Replacing it with an original component allows you to:

• restore the factory look of the central part of the interior,
• replace a missing beverage holder,
• recreate the correct mounting for the cigarette lighter or power socket. For workshops and services specializing in the Ford brand, this is a practical element for carrying out post-accident repairs, replacing worn-out panels, or refreshing the cabin in fleet vehicles.

Characteristics of the used product

The offered cover comes from the group of used parts, which allows for economical repair while maintaining the original manufacturer's specification. These types of components are often chosen by users who want to maintain the consistency of materials and colours with the rest of the interior, avoiding differences typical of aftermarket replacements. In the case of centre console trim elements, it is important that the shape, mounting method, and panel split lines are consistent with the factory design – thanks to this, the installation proceeds smoothly, and the visual effect remains in line with the original Ford standard.
