Purpose and fitment

The presented moulding belongs to the Protective and decorative mouldings group and has been designed specifically for the Toyota Auris E15 model. Its placement on the vehicle is the rear right side, which allows for precise fitment to the door shape and maintains the consistent geometry of the side body line. The original design ensures proper alignment with the door panel, without the need for modifications or adjustments required by universal parts. As a result, installation is predictable, and the visual effect is consistent with Toyota's factory standards.

Protective and aesthetic function

The moulding serves a dual purpose: it protects the edge and surface of the door against typical operational damage and restores the aesthetic appearance of the side body section. The black finish blends well with both light and dark paint colors, reducing the visibility of minor dirt and scratches. Thanks to the use of the original profile, the moulding helps maintain an even contact line with the bodywork, which is important not only visually but also practically – it limits the accumulation of debris in critical areas near the door edge.

Characteristics of the used component

The component comes from disassembly, which means it is a used part that retains the factory geometry and construction specific to the Toyota Auris E15. In practice, this allows for an economical body repair while maintaining the original manufacturing standard. Choosing an original moulding from the secondary market is a beneficial solution when you want to maintain the visual consistency of the vehicle and ensure compatibility with existing mounts, without the risks typical of universal aftermarket replacements.

Use in body repairs

The rear right door moulding is suitable both for local repairs after a minor collision or parking scrape, and for a comprehensive refresh of the side body section. Due to its factory shape, it can be used for:

• restoring the original styling line after door replacement or painting,
• replacing a missing component after previous disassembly,
• improving the visual consistency of the vehicle after bodywork repairs. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the side door area in your Toyota and need other components from the same group, such as covers, overlays, or additional mouldings, check out the available parts in the Toyota protective and decorative mouldings category.

Technical support and part selection

When selecting components from the secondary market, it is worth paying attention to structural compatibility and mounting methods to avoid problems known from other sub-assemblies, such as fuel system components.
