Purpose and compatibility

The presented external door handle has been designed for the Ford Transit Custom Mk2 model, taking into account the specifics of the front driver and passenger doors. The placement on the vehicle includes the front on the left and right side, which allows the same component to be used depending on repair needs. Thanks to a design compliant with the manufacturer's standards, the correct mounting points and geometry that works with the factory lock and linkages are maintained.

Construction and visual parameters

The handle belongs to the Door handles category, which means it is a body component responsible for daily door operation and vehicle usage comfort. The outer part is finished in Blue Metallic - FCC, thanks to which it fits well into Ford's factory paint palette and allows for limiting the scope of additional paint work. The construction intended for installation on the front doors ensures proper grip ergonomics and stable force transmission to the opening mechanism.

Functional characteristics and installation

The used item is a good choice for post-accident repairs, replacing a damaged handle, or restoring full door functionality after intensive use. The original Ford handle, as a dismantled part, retains its factory geometry and operation method, which facilitates installation in place of the old component without the need for modifications. In practice, this translates into:

• proper fit with the door skin,
• stable cooperation with the existing lock,
• preservation of the original door opening ergonomics. By using an original solution, you can reduce the risk of play, mechanism jamming, or improper door closing, which is typical for cheap replacements.

Benefits of using an original Ford handle

Choosing this door handle primarily means consistency with the factory body construction and predictable behavior in daily operation. The used OEM component allows for maintaining the proper standard of door operation while being an economical solution compared to a new part. For workshops and individual users, this means faster repair completion, lower risk of complaints, and maintaining the vehicle's aesthetics thanks to the matched finish in the Blue Metallic - FCC shade. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the front door area in your Ford and need other components from the same group, such as external handles, internal handles, or additional door operation elements, check the available parts in the Ford door handles category.
