Purpose and fitment

The presented handle is dedicated to BMW F-series models with F01, F02, F12, and F13 bodies, which means it fits the door structure of these generations without the need for modifications. The placement on the vehicle, specified as front – right side, guarantees the correct geometry of the mounts and proper cooperation with the lock mechanism and linkages inside the door.

Color and Black Sapphire Metallic finish

The Black Sapphire Metallic color (paint code 475) is a popular, elegant shade used factory-wide in many BMW models, characterized by a deep black with a metallic effect. The use of the original shade facilitates maintaining a consistent stylistic line of the body, reduces the need for repainting, and allows for a visually uniform repair of the door zone.

Technical characteristics and installation

The handle belongs to the group of body elements responsible for the daily operation of the vehicle, which is why it is important to maintain proper rigidity, precision of operation, and correct cooperation with the lock. The design intended for installation on the front right door ensures:

• compatibility with the factory mounting system in BMW F-series doors,
• correct positioning relative to the door skin and seals,
• stable operation of the opening mechanism during repeated use. Original origin from the BMW brand promotes the preservation of factory assembly clearances, which translates into proper fitment with the body line and reduction of unwanted vibrations or noises while driving.

Condition of the item and service application

The product is offered as a used part, which makes it a beneficial solution for post-accident repairs, maintenance service, or restoring the vehicle to a factory-like condition at reasonable costs. This type of handle will work well both in repairs of a single door element and in broader bodywork and paint jobs covering the entire side of the vehicle.

Benefits of using an original BMW door handle

Using an original BMW door handle in Black Sapphire Metallic allows you to maintain visual and technical consistency with other body elements. Compared to replacements, an element from the same product line as the factory equipment ensures better fitment, predictable behavior in operation, and easier integration with existing door components. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the door zone in your BMW and need other elements from the same group, such as external handles, covers, or lock inserts, check the available parts in the BMW door handles category. For users who, while working on the body, also perform service on the engine fuel system and want to deepen their knowledge on diagnostics and selection of components by catalog numbers, the article Fuel system – injectors, pumps, and fuel tank: maintenance and regeneration, describing practical aspects of operation and regeneration of fuel components, may be helpful.
