Purpose and function of the component

The presented dashboard end panel is dedicated to the Toyota Avensis T27 model and serves as a trim piece for the right side of the cockpit. Its function is to:

• cover the side part of the dashboard on the right side of the vehicle,
• ensure a consistent contact line with the door panel,
• protect internal mounts and edges against mechanical damage. Thanks to its precise fit for the specific model, the panel maintains factory-standard dashboard alignment, which facilitates installation and helps avoid unwanted gaps or rattles while driving.

Construction and dashboard fitment

The cover is a component from the Dashboards group, designed as part of the original Toyota interior trim system. The panel construction includes:

• a profile matched to the shape of the right dashboard edge,
• slots for factory clips and mounts,
• geometry consistent with the door and pillar line, which reduces the risk of rubbing and squeaking. This solution allows for maintaining consistent cockpit geometry and facilitates proper installation without the need for modifications or forced fitting.

Vehicle placement and installation aspects

The component is intended for installation on the right side of the vehicle interior, which is crucial when selecting parts for a specific body version and steering layout. Proper placement on the vehicle allows to:

• maintain the correct contact line with the door panel on the right side,
• avoid collisions with door seals and pillar elements,
• maintain the proper rigidity of the side part of the dashboard. As a result, the cover can be used both when replacing a damaged element and when completing the interior after bodywork repairs, ensuring an aesthetic finish for the right side of the cockpit.

Product characteristics and practical application

As an original Toyota component, the dashboard end panel complies with the factory specifications of the Avensis T27 model. This enables:

• restoring the original interior appearance after damage or disassembly,
• maintaining a uniform texture and stylistic line of the dashboard,
• reducing unwanted noises resulting from missing side trim. This solution is suitable for both workshops specializing in post-accident repairs and individual users who want to orderly restore the original look of the dashboard in their Avensis T27.
