Purpose and function of the holder

The presented phone holder integrated with the dashboard trim panel is designed specifically for the interior of the Ford Transit Connect Courier model. The component is mounted in the dashboard area, keeping the phone within the driver's line of sight, which facilitates the use of navigation and hands-free kits. The design of the holder is matched to the factory mounting points, allowing the original lines of the cockpit to be maintained.

Construction and fitment to the dashboard

The dashboard trim with the holder acts as an integral part of the interior finish, eliminating the need for additional adhesive accessories. The properly contoured surface ensures an aesthetic transition between the holder and the rest of the dashboard, while the use of a factory solution reduces the risk of vibrations and unwanted play while driving. As a result, the entire assembly maintains a cohesive and organized interior appearance.

Benefits of using an original Ford component

Using the original trim panel with a phone holder allows you to:

• maintain the factory fitment of dashboard components,
• ensure stable phone mounting while driving,
• avoid interfering with the cockpit structure or additional drilling,
• preserve a uniform interior style consistent with the manufacturer's design. For users who value functionality and ergonomics, this element provides a convenient solution that improves the comfort of daily vehicle use.

Condition of the component and service application

The phone holder with the dashboard trim is sourced from dismantling and is offered as a used part, which helps reduce the costs of repairs or replacing missing equipment. It is a practical choice both when replacing a damaged dashboard section and when retrofitting the interior with a functional phone holder that aligns with the manufacturer's original concept.
