Purpose and function in the cabin

The presented panel is part of the Dashboard assembly and is responsible for the structure and organization of the space in the rear zone of the centre console. Its placement in the rear part of the interior allows second-row passengers convenient access to the storage compartment under the armrest, which improves the daily ergonomics of the vehicle. This element performs several key functions:

• aesthetic closure of the centre console structure from the rear of the cabin,
• protection of the storage and armrest mechanism against mechanical damage,
• organization of space for small accessories carried inside the vehicle.

Materials and finish

The panel is made of structural plastic covered in black leather, ensuring consistency with the factory finish of the Mercedes W205 interior. The leather surface improves the tactile quality while making it easy to keep clean – dirt can be removed using standard leather upholstery care products. The selection of materials and texture has been designed so that the panel does not visually differ from other console and dashboard elements, which is particularly important when replacing a single component in a vehicle already in use.

Benefits of using an original panel

Using an original Mercedes W205 Centre Console Armrest Storage Panel allows you to maintain factory fitment and the stylistic line of the interior. This solution is particularly beneficial for:

• repairing mechanical damage in the rear part of the centre console,
• restoring a cohesive cabin appearance after intensive use,
• professional vehicle interior renovation, where compliance with OEM equipment is essential. The original design facilitates installation – the panel is designed for specific mounts and the geometry of the console in the Mercedes W205, which minimizes the risk of looseness, rattles, or improper closing of the storage compartment.

Condition and service application

The item comes from a used vehicle, making it an attractive solution for interior service when the priority is maintaining the original specification at a reasonable cost. This type of panel is suitable for both post-accident repairs and the replacement of worn or scratched centre console elements. Thanks to the preservation of factory geometry and finish, the panel allows for the quick restoration of full functionality of the rear armrest storage compartment without the need to modify other interior components.
