Purpose and function of the component

The centre console storage cover is responsible for shielding the storage space in the tunnel between the seats, which improves interior ergonomics and keeps small accessories for the driver and passengers organized. Thanks to its precise fit to the factory Land Rover console, it provides:

• a visually cohesive look for the centre tunnel,
• easy access to the storage space,
• protection for stored items against accidental falling out,
• maintenance of an organized zone around the gear lever and control panel. This solution is particularly useful when replacing a damaged, cracked, or worn cover, especially when you want to maintain the factory interior finish standard.

Original origin and fitment

The component comes from the Land Rover range, which means it retains the factory geometry, mounting points, and compatibility with the original Discovery 4 L319 centre console. This original part from the Console Parts category ensures:

• a secure fit with existing tunnel elements,
• no need for modifications or adjustments to the mounts,
• preservation of the original interior styling line,
• compliance with the manufacturer's factory quality standards. As a result, the installation process is predictable, and the final effect is close to the factory state, which is significant both for utility and potential vehicle resale.

Characteristics of the used part

The storage cover is a salvaged part, which allows you to maintain the original manufacturer's specifications while reducing costs compared to a new component. A used part is a good solution when:

• you want to restore full console functionality without investing in a new component,
• you care about maintaining the original interior look,
• you are looking for a part that complies with the factory assembly standard. Choosing an original, used storage cover is a compromise between repair economy and maintaining proper fitment and correct operation of the opening mechanism.

Selection support and OEM compatibility

For interior elements such as the console storage cover, it is crucial to match the specific model version and ensure compatibility with OEM markings and interchangeable part numbers. To avoid mistakes during purchase and ensure that the selected cover will work with your console, it is worth using practical tips on verifying manufacturer markings and comparing the element with the currently installed part. Detailed advice can be found in the article No more failed purchases! Summary of installation benefits

It is a functional choice for users who want to keep their car's interior in good technical and visual condition by using a component that complies with factory specifications.
